Gym Training Facility
Our vision for the current gym is to use the space more efficiently, create value added components such a Sauna/ Steam room (Summer 2023) , HD Golf/ Sports Simulator, a dryland area for boot camps, an enclosed Hockey/ Wellness Centre for other community events, stretching classes, yoga, video sessions with teams, wellness clinics, etc. to create a well-rounded approach to wellness and to assist high performance athletes to be the best athletes they can be.
Effective Monday February 2nd, 2023, staffed hours are from 1 - 5 pm on weekdays. Alex will be happy to assist members. Additional staffed hours to come. Follow our social media feeds (EHPC on Facebook and eastmanhighperformancecentre on Instagram) for all current information!!
The future of Eastman High Performance Centre really hinges on community involvement, creating a space where all feel welcome within the facility. It will evolve over time as we add services (Athletic Therapy, Massage, Personal Trainers, etc.) to complement the gym.
The main part of our Hockey business doesn't occur within the training facility, rather we run hockey programs year-round in various arenas in SE Manitoba. We do have Synthetic Ice and a Skating Treadmill which will be housed within the facility.
We have also designed a secondary dual use space to include a dryland area which converts to batting cages. The area will be cordoned off with a noise cancelling curtains to minimize impacts on our gym members.
Our hockey business, formerly GT Performance Hockey, will continue to exist but be absorbed and rebranded as EHPC .
